The candidate will be responsible for conducting precise surveys and geospatial assessments, as well as overseeing the quality control and assurance processes at the site. This dual-role position is ideal for professionals with a technical background in civil engineering and a strong understanding of tunneling methods, surveying instruments, and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Surveying Duties:
- Perform topographical, alignment, and layout surveys for tunnel shafts, portals, and structures.
- Establish and maintain control points and benchmarks for tunneling and structural works.
- Utilize advanced surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, digital levels, etc.) for precision layout.
- Monitor tunnel excavation, convergence, and settlement during various stages of construction.
- Collaborate with design, geotechnical, and construction teams to ensure alignment with engineering drawings.
- Maintain accurate as-built data and submit daily/weekly survey reports.
QA/QC Duties:

Job Summary
KSR Infracon Private Limited is looking for a competent and detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Civil to ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality procedures, conducting inspections, coordinating with testing agencies, and maintaining records for all QA/QC-related activities at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the project-specific Quality Plan, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and checklists at the site.
- Inspect construction works (formwork, reinforcement, concrete, masonry, plaster, etc.) and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure that materials used on site conform to quality standards and that test reports are documented.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material and concrete testing.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records including work inspection reports (WIRs), material inspection reports (MIRs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conforming work.
- Support the QA/QC Manager in internal audits, client inspections, and documentation.
- Conduct quality tool-box talks or briefings to site personnel when required.
- Monitor concrete mix approvals, cube testing, waterproofing works, and other quality-critical activities.
