Founded in the year 1965 by Late Sri Koneru Seshagiri Rao, M/s K. Seshagiri Rao & Co, first firm of the KSR Group introduced itself to the infrastructure world by taking-up small contract works in Material handling. Within four decades of successful history, it diversified into four fully functional private limited companies with specialised independent business segment of each, forming the KSR Group. The businesses handled by KSR Group include Hydro Power projects, Material and Equipment handling, Equipment hiring, Mining, Processing and Export of Granite and other support services to infrastructure projects.

The second firm being M/s KSR Infracon Pvt. Ltd, has emerged as the best Contractor in its very first contract under Italian-Thai Development Corporation Ltd and in a short span it has executed Hydro Power Project contracts of 900MW combined capacity by acquiring most modern fleet of equipment like Double-boom Drill, Jumbo Boomers, Robo-arm Shotcrete Machines, Batching Plants, Heavy Capacity Crushers, Heavy Hauling Dumpers, Heavy Excavators etc.

The third and fourth firms being M/s Sterling Stonex Pvt. Ltd and M/s Sterling Granites are into Mining of Granite in various parts of India, Processing and exporting the exclusive finished products to European Countries thereby introducing the Group to the Global market.

The Group has excellent credit rating from its lenders and equipment suppliers and is in a position to mobilize any kind of infrastructure equipment within a short period of notice. Presently the Group commends a fleet of equipment worth more than Rs. 1,500 million.
